Reese's Winter Ballet Recital

Our little ballerina had her first recital. It was SO cute, they did a little dance to "Rudolph the red nose reindeer". The girls did such a good job and had a ton of fun performing for their families. As you can tell Reese is not shy in front of the camera. They all warmed up at the bar and practiced their ballet moves.
Reese loves to do her passe, passe firsts.

How cute are their tutu's

Even dad learned a thing or two. Now all he needs is a pair of tights and a leotard.
Point those toes dad.

Snow Day!

Everyone LOVES a snow day. Reese had so much fun playing outside with her dad. They made a snow fort, well attempted and she made snow angels.

I am not sure what they are talking about but soon after the picture was taken there was some serious snowballs flying.

Lots To Be Thankful 4

Thanksgiving is filled with so many of my favorite family traditions. The weekend is packed with all sorts of fun activities. It is no doubt that this is my favorite holiday.
Polish sausage and perogi making with the Males side. If you have not had homemade perogi's and polish sausage made by the hands of Polish woman than you are certainly missing out!
We always travel to Long Grove to buy an ornament from the Pine Cone shop while drinking hot cider and eatings apple donuts. This year we were so sad to hear that it had a fire but thankfully the most of the ornaments were spared.

This was my first Thanksgiving dinner were I was the host. It went pretty well. The turkey had a large whole in it but it still moist. I guess you are supposed to tie the legs and wings close to the body. Oh well no one complained!

Last but not least, my favorite thing about Thanksgiving is having my Aunt Becky and Uncle Ray up for the weekend. We do not always get to have them but when they come it's like having a bit of magice right here with us. This year Reese started counting down the days in October. She LOVES spending time with them as does the rest of the family.
